CONNECT
The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is and how his Word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. Through engaging curriculum, supportive environments, and close knit small group classes, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today, that fun and games are definitely allowed at church, that worship can be full of loud music and silly dancing, and that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus. In other words, we want them to know that where God is, life is a lot more fun!
Students
Student ministry is such a huge part of what we do at our church. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story He's writing with their lives. We work hard to create environments that engage students in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search out answers, and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives. And maybe even have a little fun while they're at it! After all, if life in Christ is truly the best life we can live, shouldn't we encourage our students to enjoy living it to the fullest?
We know that the middle and high schools years are a time where students are most in need of kindness and community and someone to walk alongside them as they grow. Our student ministry provides just that, connecting students with one another as well as with leaders who want to support them in their journeys. Both middle and high school groups meet weekly, each focusing on worship, teaching, and small groups to encourage students in their faith.
Studying God's Word
As followers of Jesus, we desire to be fed from every word spoken by God (Matthew 4.4). God's Word gives life. It nourishes. It strengthens. As Methodists, we claim that the Bible has everything necessary for salvation.
Most every worship service, we recite God's Word together. When a passage is read, we believe we are hearing the mighty acts of God and that it does something to us.
Sunday school is our opportunity to take a deeper dive into Scripture and to learn from one another. A teacher will lead with research and special applications while participants bring their questions for lively discussion.
Sunday school is every Sunday at 9 am in the Fellowship Hall.
Community Life
Community events connect people from all walks of life and every congregation. It is important that we create our own events for the community where we work together and cultivate camaraderie as we offer hospitality to all who come. It is also important that go out to other church campuses, parks, and businesses to connect with others beyond our own boundaries. Jesus made connections all over the community and that is our desire as well.
